Pak Long’s low carb chilli sauce

Kebanyakan sos cili yang terdapat di pasaran adalah tidak sesuai untuk pengidap diabetes. Kandungan gula yang tinggi dalam sos cili di pasaran mempunyai dua fungsi utama; pertama untuk mengimbangkan rasa pedas dan kedua sebagai preservative (bahan awet). Jadi Mak Long tidak lagi menggunakan sos cili dalam hidangan atau masakan. Hari ini Pak Long telah membuat sendiri sos cili yang sesuai untuk pengidap diabetes dengan mengubahsuai resepi sos cili yang dijumpainya di sini.

Ingredients:

1 tin of chopped tomatoes

1 onions (finely chopped)

1 cup of Splenda

3 red chillies (finely chopped)

2 cloves garlic

1 tbsp rice vinegar

1 tsp salt

Put everything in a saucepan and  bring to boil. Once boiled simmer for half an hour with the lid on. Once soften blitz the sauce using a hand blender. Put the lid back on and simmer for another 15 minutes. The sauce is now ready to use.
